Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mike Hanson (ranked 1967 p4p, 24645 weight class) and Luis Wayne (ranked 145 p4p, 307 weight class). Mike Hanson could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Luis Wayne's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Hanson! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Luis Wayne! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wayne tries to clinch up but Hanson circles away and keeps his distance. Hanson lands with a nice combination. Wayne backs away looking to recover. Wayne pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Wayne misses with a takedown and Hanson counters with an inside leg kick. Hanson fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Hanson swings for the body but Wayne moves out of range.
Wayne gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Hanson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hanson swats away the attempt to clinch by Wayne. Hanson tries to bum rush Wayne with a series of wild strikes but Wayne uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Wayne tries to clinch up but Hanson circles away and keeps his distance.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Hanson keeps the fight on the outside. Wayne shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Hanson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Mike Hanson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luis Wayne. Wayne pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hanson was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Hanson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Waynes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Wayne darts in looking for a takedown but Hanson gets double underhooks and turns Wayne into the cage. A shot to the liver by Hanson. Beautiful body shot.
Wayne closes the distance and pushes Hanson back into the cage. Hanson is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Hanson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Wayne clinches up against the cage. I was talking to Hanson's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Hanson breaks the clinch.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Wayne tries for a takedown but Hanson circles away easily and Hanson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Hanson with a body punch. A glancing blow. This has been an exciting period of action! Hanson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Hanson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wayne gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Wayne tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Hanson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Wayne moves in looking to clinch but Hanson pushes him off. That kick from Hanson tenderised Wayne's leg. Wayne is trying to keep his angry face on.
Hanson gets tackled into the cage by Wayne. Wayne maintains the clinch.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Wayne with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Hanson breaks from the clinch.
Wayne tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hanson swats him away and circles back towards the center. Hanson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Hanson fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Wayne shoots and misses and Hanson counters with a straight punch to the midsection. A shot to the liver by Hanson. Beautiful body shot. Wayne fails in his attempt to clinch. Wayne keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Luis Wayne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wayne misses with a wild body shot. Wayne fails to land the takedown. We've been informed that Wayne has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Wayne throws a sloppy head kick and Hanson moves out of range easily. Wayne is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Hanson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Wayne.
A telegraphed right hand from Wayne misses the target. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wayne tries to clinch but Hanson moves away and Hanson counters with a stiff right hand. Wayne chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hanson can pounce on him.
A head kick by Wayne misses and Hanson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Hanson blocks a head kick by Wayne.
Hanson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Wayne misses with a hook to the body
and Hanson counters with a nice uppercut.
 Wayne is rocked! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Hanson dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Hanson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Wayne at a distance.
Hanson drops Wayne with a beautiful combination! Wayne stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hanson is looking for the KO! Wayne is still on wobbly legs! Can Hanson finish him? Hanson is looking to wear down Wayne with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Hanson lands a nice leg kick that just misses Wayne's sensitive parts. Hanson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Wayne can do to turn this around? Hanson scores with a shot to the body.
Luis Wayne is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hanson with a body punch. A glancing blow. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Wayne misses with a takedown attempt and Hanson counters with a slapping leg kick. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Wayne is defended easily by Hanson. A quick step to the side and Hanson tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Wayne tries for a takedown but Hanson circles away easily and Hanson counters with a huge left! Wayne is in big trouble! He's backing up but Hanson isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Wayne from any more damage. A dominating finish by Hanson!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mike Hanson! Mike Hanson retains his bantamweight title!
