And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cecil Jones!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jonathan Paton and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahmad gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Jones breaks the clinch.
Jones ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Jones looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ahmad dodges the punch combination from Jones.
Jones looks to land a combination but Ahmad avoids it well.
Jones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ahmad circles away quickly and effectively.
Jones misses with a few strikes there.
Jones throws a series of punches but Ahmad avoids them all with ease.
A nice combination there by Jones.
It looks like Asep Ahmad has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ahmad closes the distance and clinches.
Ahmad manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Ahmad tries to land a knee to the head but Jones blocks with his arms.
Jones throws a head punch that misses.
Ahmad breaks the clinch.
Ahmad fails to land with a series of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round.
No joy there for Jones, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ahmad shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jones but Jones pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jones tries to bum rush Ahmad with a series of wild strikes but Ahmad uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Jones misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A combination from Ahmad does no damage.
Jones misses with a straight left.
Oooooh!!! Jones has knocked Ahmad down with a huge combo! Jones steps away and waves a wobbly Ahmad back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ahmad drops his hands for a split second and Jones immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Ahmad face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Jones follows up with a right hand that knocks Ahmad into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Cecil Jones!
