Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wade Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demian Bustamante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Sweep the Leg. Wade Wilson could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Demian Bustamante's chin.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bustamante was well out of range. Poor timing from Wilson.
Wilson scores with a takedown into Bustamante's guard.
Bustamante wants to sweep but no luck.

Wilson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Bustamante tries to land a front kick but Wilson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Bustamante misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Bustamante ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wilson moves away.

Bustamante takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Wilson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bustamante was covering up waiting for the punch and Wilson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Wilson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bustamante swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wilson drops back looking for a leg! Bustamante is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bustamante manages to kick Wilson off! Wilson jumps back into Bustamante's guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Wilson is looking to wear down Bustamante with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Bustamante throws a sloppy head kick and Wilson moves out of range easily.

Wilson loads up on a big right hand but Bustamante slips the punch.
Wilson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Bustamante.
Wilson tries to bum rush Bustamante with a series of wild strikes but Bustamante uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bustamante dodges the punch combination from Wilson.
Bustamante looks to throw the jab but Wilson is out of range.
Wilson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Wilson moves away from the strike by Bustamante.
Wilson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bustamante looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Wilson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wilson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Wilson wants to control but Bustamante is keeping him busy.

Wilson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bustamante gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Wilson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bustamante!
Wilson is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Bustamante has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Bustamante tries to hold on but Wilson postures up.

Wilson has hold of Bustamante's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bustamante manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Wilson is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Bustamante has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Bustamante!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
