Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gage Burns (ranked 1109 p4p, 3600 weight class) and Daniel Legend (ranked 133 p4p, 400 weight class). Legend has chosen Thick Of It as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Legend takes a jab right on the kisser.
Legend is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Burns lands with a cross.

Burns throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Legend was covering up waiting for the punch and Burns finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Legend really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Burns. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Burns lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Legend has momentary wrist control but Burns slips an elbow through the middle.
Burns is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Burns is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Burns definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Burns loads up on a big left hand. Legend felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Burns looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Legend can't hide his disappointment, as Burns celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gage Burns!
