The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mazvedov tries to keep at a distance but Manda has taken the fight into the clinch.
Manda breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mazvedov is trying hard to land a takedown here. Manda sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Manda looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Mazvedov throws a series of punches but Manda moves out of range.
Nice takedown defense from Manda. No joy for Mazvedov on that attempt.
Manda gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Mazvedov to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Mazvedov tries to free his leg and advance position but Manda is retaining full guard.

Manda is pushing down on Mazvedov's leg trying to pass to half guard. Mazvedov is fighting to maintain full guard but Manda has managed to sneak the leg through.
Well, if Manda is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
