Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leonardo Abreu (ranked 2821 p4p, 2827 weight class) and Daniel Pawlikowski (ranked 334 p4p, 0 weight class). Abreu comes to the cage accompanied by T.N.T.. Daniel Pawlikowski told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Leonardo Abreu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 17 - 34 - 1, fighting out of London, Daniel Pawlikowski! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Luis Engracia and Felipe Paraventi.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pawlikowski tries to clinch but Abreu moves away and Abreu cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Pawlikowski tries to clinch up but Abreu circles away and keeps his distance. Abreu is looking to clinch. Abreu is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pawlikowski. Abreu blocks a head kick by Pawlikowski.
Abreu has closed the distance and engaged Pawlikowski in a clinch.
Pawlikowski tries to stall but Abreu uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Pawlikowski thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Pawlikowski won't allow Abreu to get back to his feet. Pawlikowski stands and throws Abreu's legs to the side, diving into side control. Pawlikowski is working Abreu over with some ground and pound from side control.

Pawlikowski has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Abreu is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Pawlikowski yanks on the arm and Abreu is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Pawlikowski.
