Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Demetrius Cordova!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eddie Odom!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cordova scores with a nice right hand.
Cordova connects with a nice looking jab.
It looks like Eddie Odom has been cut.
Odom throws a right hand that misses
and Cordova counters with a straight right hand.

Odom fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cordova manages to avoid it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Odom tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cordova was well out of range. Poor timing from Odom.

Odom is looking for a sweep. Cordova is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Cordova thows a huge punch but Odom dodges it nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cordova has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Cordova is looking to take a break and control but Odom is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Cordova has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Cordova is working Odom over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Odom wants to sweep here but Cordova controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
A looping hook to the body misses from Odom. Cordova does a little dance to reset his feet.

Eddie Odom is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Odom looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Demetrius Cordova is winning the standup battle so far.
Cordova lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Odom at a distance.
Cordova lands a glancing blow to the side of Odom's head.
Odom ducks straight into an uppercut from Cordova and tumbles to the canvas! It�s a flash knockdown though - Odom manages to regain guard straight away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cordova seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Odom is still in real trouble! Can Cordova finish him?
Cordova loads up on a big left hand. Odom felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Cordova looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Odom can't hide his disappointment, as Cordova celebrates the victory.
