This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 47 wins and 25 losses; William Crazy Horse! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Chai leaves Crazy Horse with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Chai shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Crazy Horse is trying to defend but Chai finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Chai (2) vs (0) Crazy Horse The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Crazy Horse wants to get back to full guard. Chai frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Score +3 for passing guard: Chai (5) vs (0) Crazy Horse Crazy Horse wants to control but Chai is having none of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.  That's one minute gone in the round. Crazy Horse is still trying to improve position. Chai tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Chai wants to control the pace but Crazy Horse is squirming around nicely. Crazy Horse keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Chai with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
Crazy Horse tries to get back to half guard but can't. Crazy Horse gets back to half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Chai in particular looking to stall. Chai is looking to take a break and control but Crazy Horse is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Crazy Horse moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Crazy Horse has Chai pulled in close to control his posture. Crazy Horse being controlled here, momentarily. We've been hearing good reports from Chai's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Crazy Horse pulls Chai in close to prevent any damage.

Chai trying to control the position from guard on top but Crazy Horse is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Crazy Horse wants to sweep here but Chai controlling him for the moment. Chai tries to free his leg and advance position but Crazy Horse is retaining full guard.

 That's eight minutes gone in the round. Chai might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Chai pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Crazy Horse is keeping the position for now. Crazy Horse keeping moving, preventing Chai from controlling successfully.
 That's nine minutes gone in the round. Chai slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Chai is fighting to break Crazy Horse's control of his arms but Crazy Horse is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Chai wants to control from the top but Crazy Horse keeps moving.
 That's ten minutes gone in the round. Crazy Horse looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Chai puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Chai works his way into full mount!  That's twelve minutes gone in the round. Crazy Horse is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Chai controlling the position easily from mount. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.  That's fourteen minutes gone in the round. Crazy Horse tries to get back to half guard but can't. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Chai controls the position from side control.
