Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Noli Patuga (ranked 3717 p4p, 25338 weight class) and Yevgeny Prigozhin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noli Patuga could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Yevgeny Prigozhin's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Noli Patuga! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Yevgeny Prigozhin! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prigozhin gets tackled into the cage by Patuga. Patuga maintains the clinch. Prigozhin is trying to force a seperation but Patuga has the dominant position. Patuga comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Patuga manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Prigozhin has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Patuga is proving hard to escape from. My spies in ubergym inform me that Prigozhin has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Prigozhin is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Patuga pulls Prigozhin in close to prevent any damage. Patuga will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Prigozhin would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Patuga is adopting a defensive guard. Prigozhin wants to stand but Patuga has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
 That's one minute gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. Patuga on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Patuga tries to get out of the position.
Prigozhin gets to his feet - Patuga follows without any prompting.
Patuga clinches up against the cage. Patuga lands a damaging elbow. Prigozhin wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Patuga breaks the clinch.
Prigozhin gets tackled into the cage by Patuga. Patuga maintains the clinch. Patuga lands a nice elbow. A frustrated look appears on Prigozhin's face as he tries to break the clinch. Nice elbow from Patuga.
 It looks like Yevgeny Prigozhin has been cut. Prigozhin misses with a knee strike.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Patuga keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Prigozhin's efforts to push away.
Patuga breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Despite the aggression on Prigozhin's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Patuga looks for a takedown but Prigozhin sprawls well. Prigozhin misses with a head kick.

Patuga pushes Prigozhin up against the cage in a clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Patuga lands a damaging elbow.

Patuga drives through and clinches with Prigozhin against the cage.
Patuga comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Patuga is stalling here.
Patuga pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Prigozhin!
 It looks like Noli Patuga has been cut. Prigozhin closes the distance and lands a one-two.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
Patuga closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Prigozhin can't break the clinch.
Patuga lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Patuga lands a body shot in the clinch.
Prigozhin tries to break free but Patuga pushes him back against the cage.

Patuga drives through with a takedown into guard.
Prigozhin kicks Patuga off and gets to his feet. Prigozhin throws a hook to the side of Patuga's head but Patuga sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Prigozhin throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Patuga has taken the fight to the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Patuga lands an elbow inside.
 Prigozhin is rocked! Patuga misses with an elbow strike.
Nice elbow from Patuga. Prigozhin is still on wobbly legs! Can Patuga finish him?
Patuga pulls guard effortlessly. Patuga looking for a sweep. Not yet Patuga, not yet. Prigozhin wanted to stand there but Patuga had control of the position. Patuga is pulling down on Prigozhin's head. It's preventing any offense from Prigozhin, at least for the moment.
 That's four minutes gone in the round.
Patuga looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Patuga bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Prigozhin's guard.
Prigozhin wants to get back to his feet but Patuga is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Prigozhin is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Prigozhin seems to have recovered his senses. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Prigozhin has momentary wrist control but Patuga slips an elbow through the middle. Prigozhin tries to land a sweep but no joy. Patuga has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Prigozhin keeps trying to improve his position. Prigozhin preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Patuga being controlled here momentarily. Prigozhin wants to get back to his feet but Patuga is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Prigozhin manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Noli Patuga dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Prigozhin looks to land a combination but Patuga avoids it well. Patuga seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Prigozhin throws a right and a left that Patuga avoids nicely. Noli Patuga seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Prigozhin motions for Patuga to come forward. Prigozhin throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Noli Patuga is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Patuga has managed to clinch.

Noli Patuga overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Prigozhin trying to stand up but can't free himself from Patuga's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Prigozhin scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Patuga doesn't seem bothered though. Yevgeny Prigozhin seems to be getting the better of the standup.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Patuga slowing the pace effectively. Patuga blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Patuga lands a damaging elbow. Patuga lands an elbow inside that Prigozhin shrugs off.
Patuga gets a trip takedown into half guard. Patuga misses with a head shot. Prigozhin uses the momentum to regain guard. Prigozhin wants to sweep here but Patuga controlling him for the moment. Prigozhin wants to stand and escape but Patuga is having none of it. Prigozhin is trying to keep Patuga in close.
Prigozhin wants to stand up but Patuga is controlling him. Patuga throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Prigozhin works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Prigozhin wants to stand but Patuga is controlling the position. Prigozhin is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Prigozhin tries to stand but can't do so whilst Patuga controls his leg. Patuga keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Prigozhin stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Patuga gets in close and instigates a clinch.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Patuga lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Noli Patuga has scored more points in the clinch so far. Patuga's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Patuga lands an elbow inside that Prigozhin shrugs off. Patuga blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Patuga lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Patuga has Prigozhin pressed against the cage. He pushes Prigozhin back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Patuga throws a beautiful elbow that sends Prigozhin crashing to the floor! Patuga piles on the pressure with more strikes! Prigozhin is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Noli Patuga!
