Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Juanito Buffer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gerardo Guzman!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guzman ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Buffer misses with a takedown
and Guzman counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Juanito Buffer has been cut.
Buffer takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Buffer gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Guzman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Guzman lands a nice shot that snaps Buffer's head back.

enabling Guzman to counter with a crisp jab.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Juanito Buffer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Buffer shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Guzman counters with a stiff right hand.
Guzman lands the left hand.
Buffer drops his hands momentarily and Guzman takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Guzman connects with a jab.
Guzman connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Buffer closes the distance and clinches up with Guzman, looking for a takedown. Buffer pushes Guzman against the cage but Guzman circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Buffer shoots in but no luck this time.
A nice side step and Guzman releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Buffer could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Guzman clobbers Buffer with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Buffer takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Jab, jab by Guzman - just one landing.
Buffer has his takedown stuffed
and Guzman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Buffer looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Guzman cracks Buffer with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Guzman scores with the left hand. Buffer knows he should have avoided that one.
Guzman lands a lovely overhand right.
Guzman scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Buffer is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Buffer takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Oh Buffer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Guzman lands a glancing blow to the side of Buffer's head.
Guzman dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Buffer seems to have got his legs back now.
Buffer doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Guzman counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Buffer tries for a takedown but Guzman circles away easily
and Guzman counters with a left to the body.
Buffer looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Guzman connects with a looping right hand.
Guzman lands a jab to the head.
Guzman lands a slapping body shot.
Gerardo Guzman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice shot lands for Guzman.
Buffer takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Gerardo Guzman is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Buffer moves forwards but Guzman connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Guzman lands with a straight right. Buffer didn't see that one coming.
Buffer feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Buffer not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Buffer is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Guzman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Buffer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Buffer pushing down on Guzman's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Buffer uses his free foot to push down on Guzman's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Guzman.
Buffer fails to advance to Guzman's back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Buffer is working hard here to advance position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Buffer swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
