Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rylan Wheeler (ranked 2038 p4p, 3453 weight class) and Nurlan Karim (ranked 238 p4p, 381 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Nurlan Karim!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Russell Pearce and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wheeler stuns Karim with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Karim is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Wheeler throws a right hand that Karim ducks under and follows up with a left that Karim also avoids with ease.

and Karim counters with a lovely straight right hand!
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Karim walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Wheeler drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Karim swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Wheeler's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nurlan Karim!
After the fight, Nurlan Karim was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
