Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Abdullah Khamil (ranked 3942 p4p, 25787 weight class) and Mukhtar Abbasov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mukhtar Abbasov will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mukhtar Abbasov!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Darius Henderson and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abbasov shoots in for a takedown but Khamil shows good takedown defense.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Abbasov.
Abbasov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Khamil but Khamil pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Khamil swings around for an armbar but Abbasov sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Khamil's guard.

Abbasov is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
