Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Lance Higgins (ranked 3393 p4p, 3932 weight class) and Christian Bowman (ranked 113 p4p, 133 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Chris Dean and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowman instigates a clinch.
A head punch on the inside from Bowman fails to land.
Lance Higgins has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Bowman tries to break free but Higgins pushes him back against the ropes.
Well,Higgins is on his way to losing a decision here. Can he use his experience to pull something off in the closing minutes?
Bowman swings wildly with an uppercut but Higgins uses good head movement to avoid it.

Higgins lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the ropes.
Higgins lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Bowman lands a left hand that snaps the head of Higgins backwards.
Bowman throws an elbow but it misses.
Higgins swings wildly with an uppercut but Bowman uses good head movement to avoid it.

Bowman tries to break free but Higgins pushes him back against the ropes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Higgins digs a right hand underneath Bowman's ribcage. Bowman let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Higgins tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Bowman's elbow.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bowman tries to circle away but Higgins has him pinned against the ropes.

Bowman wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Higgins has him pressed against the ropes.

Higgins lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Bowman goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Higgins cracks Bowman with a big uppercut, right up the middle and Bowman goes down! Oh, he's hurt! He's bigtime hurt! The referee is giving him a chance to get back to his feet - 4,5,6,7, no, he's called it off! Bowman wasn't going to make it and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Lance Higgins!
In his post fight interview, Lance Higgins started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
