Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Mafula Kape (ranked 2108 p4p, 1577 weight class) and Jumba Smif (ranked 189 p4p, 144 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Mafula Kape!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Jumba Smif!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa J�rvil�inen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kape throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Smif counters with a nice low kick that buckles Kape's knee momentarily.
Smif fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kape on the side of the head.
Kape tries to land a leg kick but Smif saw it coming and moves away.
Smif throws out a counter right but Kape avoids it with no problem.
Kape misses with a body shot.
Smif appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Smif scores with a three punch combo!
Kape throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A little jabbing left from Smif on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mafula Kape seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Smif lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kape's sensitive parts.
Smif has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Kape is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Smif throws a hook to the side of Kape's head but Kape sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

enabling Kape to counter with a crisp jab.

Kape lands a leg kick that knocks Smif off balance momentarily.
Decent striking displayed by Kape there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Smif counters with a good, hard body kick but Kape shrugs it off.

Kape lunges at Smif with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Smif's hand.
Smif avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Smif ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kape backing away here, and Smif unleashes a leg kick that just misses.

and Smif counters with an inside leg kick.
Kape misses with a body shot
and Smif makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Kape really felt that one!
Smif stuns Kape with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Jumba Smif seems to be getting the better of the standup.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Jumba Smif showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Kape connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Mafula Kape has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jumba Smif is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

and Kape takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Jumba Smif comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Smif has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
