Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Drew Bones (ranked 3199 p4p, 3196 weight class) and Onishi Atsushi (ranked 367 p4p, 366 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Drew Bones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Onishi Atsushi! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and William Gold.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice defenses there by Bones. Atsushi bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Atsushi throws a looping overhand right but Bones ducks down to avoid it. Nice sprawl there from Atsushi as Bones shoots in. Atsushi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Atsushi misses with a head kick.
Atsushi looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Bones throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Atsushi's waist but Atsushi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bones off to one side. A head kick misses from Atsushi.
Bones clinches. Bones tries to pull guard but Atsushi won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Drew Bones. That's going to take a lot out of him. Atsushi is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Bones is keeping busy. Atsushi tries to break the clinch but Bones is controlling the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bones dives in for a single leg takedown but Atsushi sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Bones as Atsushi tries to tie him up. Bones keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Atsushi's efforts to push away.
Bones's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Bones closes this distance looking for a takedown but Atsushi circles away. Atsushi throws a head kick that misses. Atsushi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Bones is looking to counter the offense by Atsushi and move into the clinch. Atsushi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Bones wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Atsushi throws a head kick that misses. Bones seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Bones gets control of Atsushi's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bones will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Atsushi wants to pass the guard but Bones is keeping the position. Bones slips under a jab. Bones tries for a takedown but Atsushi sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Atsushi misses with a straight right. Bones is looking for a counter combo. Bones avoids the head kick by Atsushi.
Bones gets in close and instigates a clinch. Bones misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Atsushi.

Bones lands a nice shot to the body. Atsushi is trying to break the clinch but Bones has him pressed against the cage. Atsushi tries to break the clinch but Bones is controlling the position.  The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Bones goes for a double leg but Atsushi avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Atsushi continues to drive forward. Both fighters working to control the clinch.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Atsushi wants to break free but Bones has control.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bones digs a right hand into Atsushi's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Atsushi's gas tank. Bones is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Atsushi pulls him back up using the underhooks. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Onishi Atsushi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
