Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Liam Dempsey (ranked 2096 p4p, 2733 weight class) and Iskender Aliev (ranked 249 p4p, 315 weight class). Aliev has chosen Bakili Balasiyam as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Liam Dempsey!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Iskender Aliev!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aliev moves forwards but Dempsey connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Aliev checks a leg kick.
Aliev wants to counter with a clinch but Dempsey pushes him away.
Dempsey cracks Aliev with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Dempsey lands a nice leg kick that just misses Aliev's sensitive parts.
Dempsey throws a poor cross that misses
and Aliev counters with a takedown into side control.
Dempsey is trying to buck Aliev off.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dempsey tries to buck Aliev off but Aliev is having none of it.
Aliev working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Aliev just content to control the position.
Dempsey gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Aliev is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Aliev extends the arm and Dempsey is forced to tap!
