Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Davis Frye (ranked 3261 p4p, 2029 weight class) and Ralph Cifaretto (ranked 390 p4p, 264 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Davis Frye!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ralph Cifaretto!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frye will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Cifaretto blocks a head kick by Frye.
Cifaretto tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Cifaretto feints and as Frye raises his hands in defense, Cifaretto changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Cifaretto won't allow Frye to get back to his feet.
Frye keeping full guard, as Cifaretto tries to pass.
Frye wants to stand up but Cifaretto is controlling him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cifaretto wants to control from the top but Frye keeps moving.
Frye preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Frye is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Cifaretto is controlling him.
Frye keeping moving, preventing Cifaretto from controlling successfully.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Cifaretto has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Frye.
Cifaretto throws a jab but it's blocked by Frye.
A cross from Frye lands.
Cifaretto scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Frye bucks up and tries to throw Cifaretto off but instead Cifaretto has got his back!
Frye is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Ludus Magnus that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Cifaretto is punishing Frye with strikes - can he finish him?!
Cifaretto is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Frye is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Frye won't enjoy being in this position. Cifaretto looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Frye is tapping - it's over boys! Cifaretto picks up the submission victory!
