Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Martin Nejc (ranked 1252 p4p, 1112 weight class) and Bogdan Volkov (ranked 160 p4p, 145 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Martin Nejc!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bogdan Volkov!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Volkov takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Nejc scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Volkov staying out of range there.
Volkov takes a swing at Nejc's ribcage but misses.
Good standup being displayed there by Nejc as he connects with a hook.
It looks like Bogdan Volkov has been cut.
Volkov takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Volkov misses with a series of wild punches.
A big right from Nejc misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nejc uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Volkov.
Volkov takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Nejc rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Volkov moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nejc slips a straight right by Volkov.

Volkov does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Volkov swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nejc loads up on a big right hand but Volkov slips the punch.
Nejc throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nejc rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Volkov counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Volkov tries to bum rush Nejc with a series of wild strikes but Nejc uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
We've been informed that Volkov has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Volkov scoring well with a low kick there.
Volkov misses with a hook to the body
and Volkov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The crowd cheers as Volkov lands an impressive looking overhand right. Nejc doesn't seem phased though.
Volkov scores with a crisp jab that stopped Nejc in his tracks.
Volkov tries to bum rush Nejc with a series of wild strikes but Nejc uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Volkov throws a right and a left that both miss.
Nejc misses with a two punch combination.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nejc slips a jab from Volkov.
Nejc misses with a body shot
and Volkov counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Nejc cracks Volkov with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Nejc throws a wild hook but Volkov just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Nejc gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Volkov raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bogdan Volkov!
