Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jin Devil (ranked 3374 p4p, 22715 weight class) and Pawel Nastula (ranked 282 p4p, 395 weight class). Pawel Nastula is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jin Devil!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 92 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pawel Nastula!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nastula has a takedown stuffed.
Devil gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Nastula counters by moving into the clinch.
Nastula gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Devil is pressing down on Nastula's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Devil is trying to hold Nastula in close to prevent damage but Nastula has managed to pass into half guard.
Nastula is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Devil wants to control but Nastula is keeping busy and won't allow it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nastula postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Devil is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Nastula, into his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Devil tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Devil has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Devil misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Nastula wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
A lull in the action here.
Devil is looking to take a break and control but Nastula is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Devil is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Nastula has escaped the position, nice work there.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Devil tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Nastula throws the left hand but Devil avoids the punch easily.
Devil feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
