Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Leonel Esperanza (ranked 2929 p4p, 2966 weight class) and Joo Sang Yoo (ranked 246 p4p, 250 weight class). Leonel Esperanza has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leonel Esperanza! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joo Sang Yoo! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnem�ki and Arvi Lind.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Esperanza throws a leg kick but Yoo sees it coming and moves out of range. Yoo let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Yoo displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Esperanza throws out the jab. Yoo lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Esperanza lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Esperanza misses with a right hand and Yoo counters with a lovely shot to the body. Esperanza really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. A telegraphed right hand from Esperanza misses the target. Yoo keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Yoo bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Esperanza's head. Esperanza smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Some wild striking there from Esperanza.
The fighters circling - Esperanza throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Esperanza fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Yoo, pushing him back against the cage. Esperanza stops a takedown attempt from Yoo.
Esperanza breaks from the clinch.
Yoo misses with a straight right.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Esperanza misses with a lunging right hand
and Yoo counters with a lovely straight right hand! Leonel Esperanza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Yoo avoids the body shot from Esperanza.
Esperanza swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Esperanza takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Esperanza moves into range and clinches up with Yoo. A nice glancing elbow lands by Esperanza. Esperanza is struggling to control the position. Yoo goes for a takedown in the clinch but Esperanza prevents it.
Yoo blocks an elbow strike from Esperanza.
Esperanza gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Esperanza pulls guard effortlessly. Esperanza wants to stand but Yoo is controlling the position. Yoo throws a big elbow that misses. Yoo stands and throws Esperanza's legs to the side, diving into side control. Yoo trying to control the action but Esperanza is working from the bottom.
 That's two minutes gone in the round.
Yoo tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Yoo is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Esperanza is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Yoo wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Esperanza, who protects the arm well.
Yoo decides to stand back up. Yoo steps back and let's Esperanza get back to his feet.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Yoo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Esperanza stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Esperanza lands a jab to the head.
Esperanza is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Esperanza throws the left hand but Yoo avoids the punch easily. Esperanza misses with a right hand and Yoo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Esperanza throws a leg kick that is checked and Yoo counters with a stiff right hand. Yoo dodges the punch combination from Esperanza.
Esperanza throws a big shot that misses. Esperanza will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Esperanza fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Yoo, pushing him back against the cage. Yoo tries to pull guard but Esperanza forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Leonel Esperanza has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joo Sang Yoo. Esperanza softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Yoo breaks the clinch.
Esperanza throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Yoo walks into a jab.
Esperanza has managed to clinch.
Yoo can't get the takedown.
Esperanza pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A bone on bone clash there as Yoo blocks the leg kick.
Yoo is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Esperanza with a body shot. This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by Esperanza. Yoo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Esperanza dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Esperanza looks to throw the jab but Yoo is out of range. Esperanza throws a lazy uppercut
and Yoo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Leonel Esperanza dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Esperanza misses with a combination
letting Yoo counter with a right hand. Esperanza is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Yoo can do to turn this around? Esperanza fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Yoo changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. The crowd cheers as Esperanza lands an impressive looking overhand right. Yoo doesn't seem phased though.
Esperanza has managed to clinch.
Yoo gets underhooks to prevent Esperanza's takedown attempt.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Esperanza just misses with a elbow thrown towards Yoo's brow. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Yoo pulls guard effortlessly. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yoo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Esperanza is one step ahead there. Yoo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Yoo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Esperanza gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Esperanza throws a big right hand that misses.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Esperanza prevents Yoo from getting back to his feet. Esperanza throwing strikes but missing. Esperanza scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Yoo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
