Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brenden Hickman (ranked 3191 p4p, 5330 weight class) and Frederico Mora (ranked 264 p4p, 367 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Brenden Hickman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Frederico Mora!
The judges for this bout are Roosa J�rvil�inen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mora throws a jab but it's blocked by Hickman.
Hickman tries to counter with a takedown but Mora is quick to defend against it.
Mora looks to land a left hand but Hickman moved out of range nicely.
Mora scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Mora with a jab.
Mora leaves Hickman with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Mora misses with a few strikes there.
Hickman is looking to counter punch.
Hickman gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Mora goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Mora connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hickman. Hickman circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Mora lands a glancing blow to the side of Hickman's head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Hickman feints and as Mora raises his hands in defense, Hickman changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hickman is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hickman wants to control but Mora is keeping him busy.

Hickman is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Mora is staying active underneath Hickman, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Hickman is looking for a kimura but Mora is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hickman to get the leverage.

Mora has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hickman is working away from the top position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hickman is trying to control. Mora wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Mora is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Hickman wants to work for an arm triangle but Mora is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Mora is trying to maintain the position but Hickman is very close to passing his half guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Mora throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Hickman counters with a shoot takedown. Mora fights it but they end up in guard.
Mora controls Hickman momentarily but Hickman frees himself.

Mora looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Hickman passes into side control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Mora prevents Hickman from improving position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Brenden Hickman will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Mora wants to clinch but Hickman slips to the side

and Hickman counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Hickman is pushing down on Mora's leg trying to pass to half guard. Mora is fighting to maintain full guard but Hickman has managed to sneak the leg through.
Mora is trying to maintain the position but Hickman is very close to passing his half guard.
Mora wants to improve his position but Hickman is controlling well.
Hickman is thwarting Mora's attempts to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hickman looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Hickman looking to control but Mora is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Mora is working to get back to half guard.
Mora wants to control but Hickman is having none of it.

Mora tries to lock up and control but Hickman gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Mora is in all sorts of trouble here.
Hickman moves to take his opponent's back.
Hickman gets his hands free as Mora looks to control.

Hickman is punishing Mora with some ground and pound.
Mora tries to escape but Hickman has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Hickman is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Mora knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Mora for a finish.

Hickman has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.

Hickman is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Hickman controlling well, preventing Mora from escaping the position.

Mora trying to control the position but Hickman manages to sink in the hooks.

Hickman is looking to control Mora but Mora is wriggling around and keeping busy.

Hickman is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Mora defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Brenden Hickman dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Mora misses with a double jab

and Hickman counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mora won't be happy with that.
Mora tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hickman wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Hickman wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mora, who protects the arm well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Mora wants to control from the top but Hickman keeps moving.
Hickman can't keep his opponent in guard - Mora advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Mora working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Hickman's thigh. Hickman counters though and makes it back to full guard.

Hickman is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Mora rolls with it to try and escape but Hickman cranks on the arm and Mora is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Brenden Hickman!
