Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Jones (ranked 5209 p4p, 2703 weight class) and Ben Maunders (ranked 436 p4p, 272 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Johnny Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ben Maunders! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa J�rvil�inen and Arvi Lind.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones darts in and clinches Maunders up against the cage. A hook to the body from Jones.
Maunders has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jones is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Jones looking for a takedown.
Maunders has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Jones clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Jones covering up well under a series of strikes from Maunders. Even with his hooks in, Maunders manages to miss with strikes from the back. Jones is trying to stand back up. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Jones prevents Maunders from getting a body triangle. Maunders lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK. Jones trying to control the hands but Maunders breaks the grip. Maunders looking to hold on to the position here but Jones rolls and ends up regaining guard.
Maunders pushing down on Jones's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Jones trying to control but Maunders postures up.
Ground and pound from Maunders. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Maunders seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. It looks like Maunders might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Jones wants to get back to full guard. Maunders looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Maunders thows a huge punch but Jones dodges it nicely.
Maunders looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jones with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Maunders with the ground and pound but Jones uses the opportunity to regain guard. Maunders wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving. Jones utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Maunders with a flurry of punches that miss. Jones on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jones tries to get out of the position. Maunders throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Maunders slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Maunders trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jones is looking to clinch. Maunders throws the left hand but Jones avoids the punch easily. Maunders misses with a straight left.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up but Maunders swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jones tries to clinch there but Maunders circles away.

Jones clinches up against the cage. Jones is working for takedown but Maunders is calmly controlling the position for now. Maunders looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Jones is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Maunders is defending well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnny Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. Still in the clinch, Jones scores with a nice short uppercut. Jones wants a takedown.
Jones is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Maunders gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jones tries to roll over but Maunders keeps him under control. Maunders missing with the ground and pound from half guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ben Maunders dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Jones has a takedown stuffed. Maunders misses with a looping right.

Jones tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Maunders gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Jones.

Jones is working for takedown but Maunders is calmly controlling the position for now. Maunders looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Jones jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Maunders walks away with a smile on his face. Jones gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Jones gets a double leg takedown into Maunders's guard. Maunders is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Maunders on the ground. Maunders keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully. Maunders controlling Jones's posture. Jones prevents Maunders from getting back to his feet.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones's corner is telling him to maintain position. Maunders looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Maunders is looking to stand up but Jones isn't so interested in that idea. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Jones trying to control but Maunders is working from the bottom.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Maunders avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A little jabbing left from Maunders on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Jones tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Maunders counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Jones! Maunders creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Jones sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Maunders wants to control but Jones is keeping him busy. Jones is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Maunders throws an elbow but Jones slips to the side and avoids it well.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Maunders wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jones keeps working. Jones taking punishment in the form of punches.
Maunders scores with a couple of short elbows. Jones wants to get back to his feet but Maunders is dominant here and he's now got Jones's back! Maunders has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Maunders throwing wild punches that miss their target. Maunders throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage. Maunders throwing sloppy strikes.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Maunders gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes. Well, with Maunders on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Jones is tapping out...  Jones is rocked! Jones covers up after that shot from Maunders.
Oh Jones is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Maunders.
Jones is trapped and Maunders is scoring with shots to the head and body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Maunders lands shots to the head and Jones turtles up! The ref has seen enough and stops the fight! This one is over!
