The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perunamuusi shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

and Perunamuusi counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Bittencourt has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Perunamuusi is working away from the top position though.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Perunamuusi lands a nice short elbow.

Perunamuusi is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Perunamuusi working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Bittencourt turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Perunamuusi off and cradles Bittencourt's limp body as Perunamuusi celebrates with his corner.
