Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tim Cahill (ranked 2651 p4p, 4116 weight class) and Matthew Hudson (ranked 311 p4p, 428 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tim Cahill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Matthew Hudson! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Ivan Kurochkin and Fedor Mirinova.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hudson digs a good hook to Cahill's body.
Danga de danga de dang - Hudson scores with a four punch combination! Hudson looks to land a combination. Cahill sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Cahill takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Hudson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Hudson stuns Cahill with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Hudson lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
This has been an exciting period of action! Hudson with a body punch. A glancing blow. Cahill walks into a stiff left hand from Hudson. Hudson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Cahill shoots in looking for a takedown. Hudson tries to sprawl out of it but Cahill keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hudson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Hudson steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Cahill.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Hudson connects with a looping right hand.
Cahill gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Hudson lands a jab to Cahill's midsection. Cahill is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Cahill moves out of range of the strikes.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Cahill takes a body punch but keeps moving. Hudson throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Hudson scores with a jab to the body. Cahill uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hudson. Cahill tries to counter with a takedown but Hudson is quick to defend against it. Hudson connects with a body shot. Cahill fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Cahill with a lazy takedown attempt and Hudson counters with a stiff right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tim Cahill. That's going to take a lot out of him. This has been an exciting period of action! Hudson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Cahill moves forwards but Hudson connects with a nice, crisp jab.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Cahill goes for a double leg but Hudson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hudson continues to drive forward. Cahill jumps guard but Hudson stands there with Cahill around his waist. Cahill gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Cahill pushes a forearm under Hudson's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Hudson is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
