Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cohen Barron (ranked 2844 p4p, 3441 weight class) and Ben Dover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ben Dover will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cohen Barron!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ben Dover!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dover pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Dover stuffs the takedown attempt from Barron. Barron gets slowly back to his feet.
Dover scores with a hook to the body. Barron takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Barron fails to land the takedown.
Dover throws a big shot that misses.

Barron takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dover might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Barron takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Barron shoots for a double leg takedown but Dover sprawls well. He's pushed Barron's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

As Dover looks to move away, Barron throws a big counter combo but Dover just gets out of the way.
Dover misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dover is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Barron had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Dover goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Barron is still looking wobbly from the end of the last round!
Cohen Barron is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Oh Barron is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dover throws a big shot that misses.
Barron tries to counter by clinching up but Dover breaks away and moves out of range.

Ben Dover seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dover drops Barron with a beautiful combination! Barron stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Dover is looking for the KO!

Dover throws out a loose jab but Barron uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ben Dover seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Dover rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Barron moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Barron closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Dover quickly recovers to half guard.
Dover has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

Dover is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Barron tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Dover just stands there and leans against the cage.
Barron is trying to push Dover away but Dover has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Barron is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Dover is defending well for now.

As Dover tries to get set, Barron tries to push him back and clinch up but Dover manages to avoid the attempt.

Dover works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dover throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Barron crashing down! Barron tries to stagger back to his feet but Dover just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Barron asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
