Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Lawler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kev Kev Randleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Randleman has chosen kiss as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Lawler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kev Kev Randleman!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Randleman looks to score with a jab to the body but Lawler is just out of range.
Randleman throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lawler sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Lawler shoots for a double leg takedown but Randleman sprawls well. He's pushed Lawler's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Randleman is looking to clinch.
Lawler fails with the takedown.
Lawler fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bob Lawler. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lawler shoots in looking for a takedown. Randleman tries to sprawl out of it but Lawler keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Randleman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bob Lawler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lawler shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Randleman as he avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Lawler is looking for a kimura but Randleman is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lawler to get the leverage.

Lawler has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Lawler has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Randleman is working away from the top position though.

Randleman tries to land knees in the clinch but Lawler avoids the damage to the body.
Bob Lawler has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Kev Kev Randleman comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Randleman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
