Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Oliveira (ranked 2268 p4p, 3148 weight class) and Ronnie Bohanas (ranked 265 p4p, 359 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Oliveira might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to O HINO. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Samuel Oliveira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ronnie Bohanas!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bohanas misses with a looping left.
Oliveira steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bohanas.
Oliveira attempts a counter takedown but Bohanas avoids it well and moves away.
Bohanas swings away with a body shot that misses
and Oliveira counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Oliveira trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Bohanas looking for a sweep. Not yet Bohanas, not yet.
Bohanas working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Oliveira doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oliveira manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Oliveira advances to half guard.
Bohanas trying to control but Oliveira postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Oliveira has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Oliveira passes to side control.
Bohanas is not content to let Oliveira control the position.
Oliveira is working to tighten his grip on Bohanas's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Bohanas has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Oliveira is really squeezing tight and eventually Bohanas passes out! Oliveira breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
