Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Abdullah Khamil (ranked 3962 p4p, 4735 weight class) and Gabriel Garcia Marquez (ranked 417 p4p, 451 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Abdullah Khamil! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gabriel Garcia Marquez! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Radbod Blank.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garcia Marquez turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Garcia Marquez lands a nice leg kick that just misses Khamil's sensitive parts. Khamil doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Garcia Marquez fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Garcia Marquez scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Garcia Marquez throws a leg kick which misses Khamil's front leg but catches the back leg as Khamil tries to avoid it. Khamil tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Garcia Marquez throws a head kick but Khamil moves out of range.

Khamil attempts a counter takedown but Garcia Marquez avoids it well and moves away. Garcia Marquez fails to land with a series of punches.
Khamil feinted with a counter takedown. Garcia Marquez lunges at Khamil with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Khamil's hand.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Khamil is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Garcia Marquez misses with a hook to the ribs.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Garcia Marquez is trying to break free. Garcia Marquez is trying to break the clinch but Khamil is controlling him. Garcia Marquez tries to circle away but Khamil has him pinned against the cage.

Khamil drives through and clinches with Garcia Marquez against the cage.
Garcia Marquez's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Khamil breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Garcia Marquez throws a front kick aimed at Khamil's knee but Khamil avoids it well. Khamil half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Garcia Marquez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Garcia Marquez smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Khamil tries to clinch up. Garcia Marquez tries to score with a low kick but Khamil moves his leg out of the way.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Garcia Marquez changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. A nice inside leg kick there by Garcia Marquez. That's going to slow Khamil down. Garcia Marquez throws a series of punches but Khamil moves out of range.
Khamil rushes Garcia Marquez and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Khamil leaning against his opponent.
Garcia Marquez has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Garcia Marquez has had enough of the clinch but Khamil keeps him there for the moment.
Khamil gets control of Garcia Marquez's arms and successfully pulls guard. Khamil will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Khamil has a closed guard, preventing Garcia Marquez from standing up. Khamil doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Khamil has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Garcia Marquez should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Khamil has tightened it up now! Garcia Marquez should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
