The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amaral gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Bakes works over Amaral with some ground and pound from guard.
Bakes throws a big right hand that misses.
Bakes landing some decent shots from guard.
Bakes makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
It looks like Leonel Amaral has been cut.
Bakes won't allow Amaral to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Amaral wants to stand and escape but Bakes is having none of it.

Bakes keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Amaral's head.
Oh Amaral is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Bakes loads up on a big left hand. Amaral felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Bakes looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Amaral can't hide his disappointment, as Bakes celebrates the victory.
