Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Heung Min Choi (ranked 333 p4p, 589 weight class) and Diogo Martins (ranked 34 p4p, 56 weight class). Choi comes to the cage accompanied by Black Eyed Bruiser. Martins has chosen Monte Tiene Garabato as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 22 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Heung Min Choi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 18 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Diogo Martins! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paulsen Ambrosius and Saam Ante.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martins looks to land a combination but Choi avoids it well. Choi on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Diogo Martins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Martins checks the leg kick nicely there.
Choi has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Martins finds it's way round the side to connect with Choi's head. Choi bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Martins lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Choi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Martins can pounce on him.
Martins thows a left - swing and a miss! Martins tries to clinch but Choi is having none of it. Choi was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Choi throws a jab but it's blocked by Martins. A slow jab from Choi misses its intended target. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Martins lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Choi has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Choi and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Martins scores with a nice right hand.
Martins tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Choi manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Choi fires out a quick counter leg kick but Martins just manages to avoid it. Martins throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Choi sees it coming and avoids it easily. Choi looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Choi takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A looping hook to the body misses from Choi. Martins does a little dance to reset his feet. Choi lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Martins throws a leg kick which misses Choi's front leg but catches the back leg as Choi tries to avoid it. Choi misses with a wild combination.
Martins doesn't manage to clinch there - Choi circles away.
Martins takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Martins works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Martins's coach down at Kaptajnernes Træningscenter was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Martins's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. A telegraphed right hand from Choi misses the target. Martins tries to counter with a clinch but Choi shakes him off and moves away. Nice uppercut lands for Choi. That snapped Martins's head back.
Choi throws a body shot but no joy. Martins tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Choi manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. And Choi counters with a quick kick to the body but Martins blocks it. Choi throws out a loose jab but Martins uses good head movement to avoid it. Choi throws a hook to the side of Martins's head but Martins sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Choi misses with a few strikes there.
Choi staying out of range there. Nice straight punches there by Choi. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Choi. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Martins throws a hook but Choi blocks it. Choi appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Choi slips a jab and a cross from Martins.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Martins swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Choi counters with a straight right hand. Martins lands with a shot to the body. Choi moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Martins gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Choi breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Martins misses with a wild body shot. Choi slips a jab from Martins. As Martins backs away, Choi returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Choi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A leg kick checked by Martins. Martins throws a head kick but Choi moves out of range.
Choi looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Martins throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Martins is looking to clinch but Choi is avoiding it.
Martins misses with a looping left. A little feinted left hand from Choi on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Choi scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Choi cracks Martins with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Martins falls to his knees and Choi doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Heung Min Choi! During a confident post fight interview, Heung Min Choi thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
