Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trevon Mcdowell (ranked 1808 p4p, 2450 weight class) and Freddy Jones (ranked 210 p4p, 280 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Trevon Mcdowell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Freddy Jones!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Sam Margolis and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mcdowell tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jones is in Mcdowell's guard.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Mcdowell looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Jones can't hide his disappointment, as Mcdowell celebrates the victory.

After winning the bout, Trevon Mcdowell thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
