Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peat Macallan (ranked 1910 p4p, 2491 weight class) and Jordan Michaels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jordan Michaels was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Peat Macallan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jordan Michaels! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Joseph Jones and John Kavanagh.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Michaels shoots and misses
and Macallan counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Michaels wants to stand back up but Macallan manages to pass into side control.
Michaels is pushing Macallan's head away, looking to escape. Macallan manages to hold on to the position though. Macallan working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Macallan tries to move into full mount but can't pass Michaels's legs. Macallan is chipping away with strikes.
Macallan is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Michaels's shoulder. That is not cool. Michaels prevents Macallan from improving position. You can see the frustration on Michaels's face as Macallan controls the position.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Michaels prevents Macallan from improving position.
Macallan is trying to get an arm triangle but Michaels is defending well. Macallan scoring with punches from side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Michaels seems a little lost for a moment, as Macallan dominates the positioning.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Michaels takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Macallan looks up at the clock and then as Michaels takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Macallan smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Macallan slows the pace down. Michaels tries to improve position but can't. Macallan controlling the position from side mount. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Michaels is working to avoid the ground and pound but Macallan connects with a decent elbow.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Michaels seems a little lost for a moment, as Macallan dominates the positioning. Macallan creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Macallan working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Michaels is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Macallan lands an elbow. Michaels is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Macallan is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Macallan unloading with bombs! Macallan lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Michaels gets back to half guard. Macallan passes the guard and advances to mount! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Peat Macallan dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Macallan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Michaels, pushing him back against the cage. Michaels is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Macallan pulls him back up using the underhooks. Michaels is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Macallan gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Peat Macallan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jordan Michaels. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Macallan breaks the clinch.

and Macallan counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Macallan passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Michaels!
 That's one minute gone in the round. Macallan tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Macallan's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Macallan lands a big shot there that rocks Michaels but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Macallan lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Peat Macallan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Macallan postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Michaels looks a forlorn figure.
Michaels tries to get back to half guard but can't. Macallan with good strikes from the mount here!
 Michaels is rocked! Macallan unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Michaels wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Macallan celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Peat Macallan!
