Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim McBride (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reed Richards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reed Richards will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim McBride! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Reed Richards! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McBride tries to clinch up. McBride tries to clinch up. No luck with that takedown attempt from McBride. McBride fails with a takedown attempt. No luck with that takedown attempt from McBride. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jim McBride. That's going to take a lot out of him. McBride shoots in but Richards avoids the takedown attempt easily. Richards throws a push kick but McBride slaps the foot to one side. McBride shoots for a double leg takedown but Richards sprawls well. He's pushed McBride's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Richards lands a slapping body shot.
McBride is breathing heavily. A solid leg kick lands there for Richards.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Richards throws a left that rocks McBride and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Richards dives into side control, looking to finish! Can McBride regain composure!
It looks like Jim McBride has been cut. Richards wants to stand but McBride has his arm trapped. Richards taking a breather here. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's one minute gone in the round. Richards wants to stand but McBride has his arm trapped. Richards stands up and beckons McBride to his feet. McBride has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Reed Richards is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Richards fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Richards works McBride's body with a nice hook. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Richards scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Richards tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Richards thuds a left hand into McBride's body. Nice combo by Richards! Oh, that's hurt him - McBride falls to the canvas and Richards follows him into side control.
McBride is rocked! Richards in side control, just content to control the action for now. Oh McBride is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Richards's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. McBride seems to have got his legs back now. Richards decides to stand back up. Richards attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Richards ducks under a wild hook from McBride. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! McBride shoots in for a takedown but Richards shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Richards throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Richards swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by McBride. No luck with that takedown attempt from McBride. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Reed Richards dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jim McBride's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
McBride on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Richards changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Richards is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Richards lands with an uppercut that bounces McBride off the ropes and back into rage. McBride takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Oooh a lovely combination from Richards sends McBride down but not out. Richards dives into side control looking to finish. Richards sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but McBride is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
A lull in the action here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. McBride tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Richards wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Richards remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. McBride is looking for a sweep. Richards working away. McBride tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Richards wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Richards decides to take the fight back to the feet. McBride closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Richards comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Richards has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Good standup being displayed there by Richards as he connects with a hook. Richards lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Jim McBride's cut is getting worse. Richards throws and low kick but McBride moves out of range easily. Richards lands a nice hook to McBride's body. McBride takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Richards. Richards punishes McBride's body with a nice straight punch. Richards ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Richards lands with a nice body punch. Richards digs a good body shot into McBride's ribs. McBride takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Jim McBride is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Richards is looking to chop away at McBride's legs. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Richards scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Richards tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Richards lands a with a good body shot. Richards lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends McBride sprawling to the canvas. Richards follows him down, looking for the kill. Can McBride hang on? And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Reed Richards showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Jim McBride's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
Richards lands with a right and another and another! McBride is in big trouble! Richards lands again and this time it's lights out for McBride! A quality knockout there for Richards.
