With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andre Pereira!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pereira fails with the takedown
letting Tavara counter with a right hand.
Pereira with a poor takedown
and Tavara cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Pereira uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tavara.
Pereira tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Tavara steps in with a hook that catches Pereira right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Tavara follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Pereira looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Malo Tavara!
