Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pawel Nastula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Partridge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alex Partridge has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Partridge wants to clinch. Nastula keeps the fight on the outside. Partridge tries to clinch there but Nastula circles away.
Partridge tries a head kick but it misses.
Partridge tries to clinch but Nastula is having none of it. Nastula takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Alex Partridge seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nastula throws a nice inside leg kick. Nastula closes the distance and clinches up with Partridge, looking for a takedown. Nastula pushes Partridge against the cage but Partridge circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Nastula tries for a takedown but Partridge sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Partridge misses with a few strikes there.

That's going to take a lot out of him. Partridge tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Nastula shoots in for a double leg but Partridge sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Partridge tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. The fight moves into the clinch position. The referee calls for Partridge to work.

Partridge decides to pull guard. Partridge pulls Nastula in to control the position. Partridge's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Nastula trying to control the position from guard on top but Partridge is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Partridge can do anything to dispel that myth. Nastula trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Nastula wants to control from the top but Partridge keeps moving. Partridge looking to hit a scissor sweep but Nastula is one step ahead there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Partridge has control of Nastula's left arm, preventing Nastula from doing any damage. Partridge keeping moving, preventing Nastula from controlling successfully. Nastula looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Partridge can't keep his opponent in guard - Nastula advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nastula passes to side control. You can see the frustration on Partridge's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Nastula trying to control the action but Partridge is working from the bottom. Nastula is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. I wouldn't like to be where Partridge is right now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nastula working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Nastula decides to stand back up. Nastula steps back and let's Partridge get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alex Partridge dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Partridge throws a right hand that Nastula ducks under and follows up with a left that Nastula also avoids with ease. Partridge tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nastula paws at him with a jab and circles away. Nastula shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Partridge as he avoids it easily. Partridge looks to score with a jab to the body but Nastula is just out of range. Nastula swats away the attempt to clinch by Partridge. Nastula closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Partridge keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Nastula not doing much here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Nastula works his way into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nastula tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Nastula has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Nastula working away. Nastula wants to control but Partridge is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Partridge struggling a bit here. Partridge really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nastula. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Partridge is looking for a sweep. Partridge can't do much from the bottom here.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Nastula circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nastula connects with a high kick. Partridge closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Nastula to the mat! Nastula manages to get full guard. Nastula keeping moving, preventing Partridge from controlling successfully. Nastula pulls Partridge in to control the position. Partridge looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Nastula controlling Partridge's posture.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nastula wants to stand up but Partridge is controlling him. Nastula tries to land a sweep but no joy. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Nastula trying to control the position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Pawel Nastula will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Partridge throws a right and a left that both miss. The fight stays on the outside here - Nastula looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Nastula with a poor takedown and Partridge counters by moving into the clinch. Partridge tightens his grip and picks Nastula up, before dumping him to the ground. Nastula manages to land in guard. Partridge postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round. Partridge controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Partridge must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Partridge is looking to stand up but Nastula won't let him. Partridge trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Nastula throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Partridge finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Partridge darts in trying to clinch and Nastula counters with a lovely shot to the body. Nastula shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Partridge tries to hold on but Nastula postures up. Nastula blocks Partridge's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Nastula tries to control but Partridge wriggling away. Partridge is trying desperately to improve position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Partridge wants to hold on but Nastula pushes him away. Nastula landing shots from mount. Nastula throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Partridge is looking to improve his position but Nastula isn't that keen on the idea. Nastula looking to finish with strikes here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Partridge is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Partridge is looking to get to half guard. Nastula punching from mount but Partridge doing a good job of avoiding damage. Partridge has given up his back here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Nastula is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Partridge knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Partridge for a finish. Nastula has the hooks in. Partridge is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
And that's the end of the fight! Pawel Nastula showed his dominance in that final round. I think Nastula has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
