Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Havue Daloa (ranked 3656 p4p, 3637 weight class) and Abdul King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Havue Daloa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Abdul King!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Phil Schofield and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and King wants it to stay on the feet.
King steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Daloa.
Havue Daloa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

King gets a double leg takedown into Daloa's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
King is stalling in the full guard.

Daloa working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. King doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. King manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
King is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
King chips away with some ground and pound.
King really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Daloa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

King slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Well, if King is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
It looks like King might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

King working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.

King has the hooks in. Daloa is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
What can Daloa do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
King is continuing to stall.
King is trying to stick to Daloa's back but Daloa is turning into King. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in King's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Daloa.

Daloa drops back, looking for a kneebar! King looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. King looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from King!

King advances nicely into full mount.

Daloa is desperately trying to improve his position but King has a good base and remains in mount.
Daloa sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Daloa slips a jab and a cross from King.

King closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Daloa's guard.

Daloa had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. King defends it easily.

King has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

King seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
