And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Bark Malis!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malis chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Zionovic moves into the clinch successfully.
Zionovic presses Malis against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Malis tries to break the clinch but Zionovic is controlling the position.
Zionovic wants to break free but Malis has control.
Zionovic tries for a takedown but Malis manages to get underhooks.
Zionovic misses with a knee to the head.
Zionovic keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Malis's efforts to push away.

Malis manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Zionovic is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zionovic has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Malis!
Zionovic throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Malis because Zionovic loaded up on that one.

Malis wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Zionovic is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Malis has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Malis!

Zionovic is looking for a triangle but Malis pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Zionovic pulls Malis in close to prevent any damage.

That was a close round but I would say that Ricky Claus Zionovic will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Zionovic misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Zionovic dives in and grabs Malis's left leg, looking for a takedown. Malis pushes down on Zionovic's head and hops out.
Zionovic tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Malis swivels and escapes.

A little jabbing left from Malis on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ricky Claus Zionovic. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A head kick by Malis misses
and Zionovic counters by clinching up.
Zionovic tries to pull guard but Malis forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Zionovic is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Malis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Malis keeps Zionovic at a distance using the push kick.
Malis goes for a small jab and connects. Now Malis goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Zionovic stumbles back but Malis runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Zionovic to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Zionovic will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Bark Malis!
Bark Malis decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
