The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tavernelli ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mosley moves away.
Nice defenses there by Mosley.
Tavernelli fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mosley looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Emanuel Mosley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tavernelli gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Mosley to score an easy takedown into full guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Tavernelli holds on and takes a little breather.
Tavernelli is continuing to stall.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mosley stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tavernelli swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tavernelli tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Mosley sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Tavernelli doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Mosley paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Tavernelli - great work!
