Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alex Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Booger Magee!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magee throws a looping overhand right but Silva ducks down to avoid it.
Silva clinches up against the cage.
Magee using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Magee pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Magee misses with a hook.
Magee misses with a jab to the body
and Silva counters by clinching up.
Silva is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Magee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The fighters circle momentarily. Magee darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
It looks like Alex Silva has been cut.
Magee throws a leg kick but Silva sees it coming and moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Magee drops Silva with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Silva looks back up at him and smiles so Magee waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silva keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Magee throws a right and a left that Silva avoids nicely.
Magee throws a monster overhand right that drops Silva! Magee follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Booger Magee!
A relieved looking Booger Magee thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
