Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Al Fatih Salman!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Alexandre Firmino and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sooklal fails with a takedown attempt.
Sooklal tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Salman swivels and escapes.
Salman has Sooklal up against the cage in a clinch.
Salman manages to break the clinch.
Sooklal fails to land the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Deonarine Sooklal. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sooklal has his takedown stuffed
and Salman counters with a crisp one two that drops Sooklal! Salman thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Sooklal to his feet! Sooklal is in big trouble!
Sooklal is rocked!
Sooklal throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Salman's waist but Salman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sooklal off to one side.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Sooklal is trying to pull guard but Salman turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Salman breaks from the clinch.
Sooklal shoots and misses
and Salman counters with a straight right hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Salman displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sooklal.
Salman closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Salman pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Salman darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Salman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sooklal keeps working.
Sooklal is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Salman pulls his head out easily.
Sooklal wants to get back to full guard.
Sooklal is working hard here to advance position.
Sooklal looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Sooklal is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Sooklal wants to get back to full guard but Salman has mounted him!

Sooklal is staying active underneath Salman, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Salman looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Sooklal is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Salman pulls his head out easily.
Sooklal manages to get to full guard.
Sooklal looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Salman passes into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Salman looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Sooklal sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Sooklal looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Sooklal has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Salman. Oh but Sooklal has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Salman goes limp - he's gone! Sooklal jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
