Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brennan Sutchel (ranked 25798 p4p, 25572 weight class) and Joe Missel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Brennan Sutchel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Joe Missel! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Fedor Mirinova and Sergei Dronov.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Missel shoots in looking for a takedown but Sutchel manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Missel's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Missel dives in for a single leg takedown but Sutchel sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Sutchel gets in close and instigates a clinch. Sutchel throws a punch but it's blocked by Missel. Missel tries for a takedown. No joy.
Brennan Sutchel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Missel. Stalling in the clinch from Sutchel.
Missel is trying to drag Sutchel to the mat but Sutchel just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Missel fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sutchel breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sutchel pushes Missel up against the cage in a clinch. Sutchel tries to pull guard but Missel won't allow it.
Missel breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Horrible takedown attempt by Missel or perhaps it was just good defense by Sutchel, which made it look bad.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Missel looks to land a combination but Sutchel avoids it well. Missel moves out of range of the leg kick from Sutchel. Sutchel will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. No luck with that takedown attempt from Missel. Sutchel seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Sutchel shoots in but no luck this time. Missel shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sutchel as he avoids it easily. Sutchel throws the kick towards the body but Missel avoids it. Missel circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sutchel stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sutchel wants it to stay on the feet. Sutchel fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Missel avoids it really well and circles away.
 That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sutchel clinches. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Sutchel takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Missel pulls guard. Sutchel working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Sutchel has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Missel is proving hard to escape from. Missel is trying to control the position but Sutchel postures up. Sutchel slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Sutchel being controlled here momentarily. Sutchel trying to control the position from guard on top but Missel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sutchel sitting in guard, not really doing much. Missel wants to stand up but Sutchel is controlling him.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Sutchel tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Sutchel shoots in looking for a takedown. Missel tries to sprawl out of it but Sutchel keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Missel manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Missel closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sutchel circles away. Missel looks for a takedown but Sutchel sprawls well. Sutchel fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Missel tries to clinch up.

Missel dives in and grabs Sutchel's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sutchel pushes down on Missel's head and hops out. Missel swats away the attempt to clinch by Sutchel. Sutchel throws a leg kick but Missel moved away. Missel drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Sutchel defends it well. Sutchel is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Missel can do to turn this around? The fight stays on the outside here - Missel looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Sutchel thinks about countering with a head kick. Sutchel lands with an overhand left. Missel moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
 It looks like Brennan Sutchel has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Missel shoots in for a double leg but Sutchel sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Missel dodges the punch combination from Sutchel.
Missel is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Missel checks a low kick from Sutchel.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Missel ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Sutchel throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Missel's waist but Missel gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sutchel off to one side. Sutchel closes the distance and clinches up with Missel, looking for a takedown. Sutchel pushes Missel against the cage but Missel circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Missel pivots, looking for a leg kick but Sutchel is out of range and Missel settles back down. Missel tries a head kick but it misses.
Joe Missel seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Sutchel forces Missel back against the cage and clinches. Missel letting Sutchel take a breather here. Sutchel prevents a takedown attempt there.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Sutchel tries to score a power double leg takedown but Missel sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sutchel somewhat. No luck for Sutchel with that takedown attempt. Missel is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Missel is looking to land body kicks. Missel looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Missel fails with the takedown. Sutchel shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Missel as he jumps to the side. Sutchel closes the distance but Missel moves to the side and Missel counters with an inside leg kick. Brennan Sutchel is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Missel fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sutchel avoids it really well and circles away. Missel misses with a takedown and Sutchel counters with a one-two to the body.
Sutchel takes the fight into the clinch. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Sutchel is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Missel is defending well. Missel drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sutchel pulls his leg out and moves away.
Sutchel shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Missel as he jumps to the side.

Sutchel moves into range and clinches up with Missel. Sutchel has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Missel avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Brennan Sutchel will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Brennan Sutchel's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Missel closes the distance and pushes Sutchel back into the cage. Missel tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Sutchel is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Missel has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Sutchel after a bit of a struggle. A bit of stalling here from Missel.

Sutchel decides to take the fight back to the feet. Sutchel misses with a jab, cross combination.
Missel shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sutchel defends it nicely. Missel takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Sutchel fails with the takedown. Missel shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sutchel but Sutchel pushes him off and we're back to square one. A little feinted left hand from Sutchel on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Missel tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sutchel sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Missel somewhat.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Sutchel tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Missel manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Missel keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Sutchel shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Missel defends it nicely.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Sutchel is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Missel is keeping busy. Sutchel is looking to control Missel's arms but Missel gets an underhook and turns him. Now Sutchel has his back to the cage.
Missel jumps guard.
Sutchel wants to control from the top but Missel keeps moving. Missel looking for a sweep. Not yet Missel, not yet.
Missel escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sutchel gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Missel controlling the position.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Missel keeping full guard, as Sutchel tries to pass.
Missel is working an open guard so Sutchel takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Missel gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Sutchel decides to pull guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sutchel looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Sutchel has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Missel can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sutchel has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Brennan Sutchel. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sutchel, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
