The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

He's being very persistent here but Kurtanidze manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Kurtanidze wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Pancake, who protects the arm well. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Kurtanidze looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Kurtanidze is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Pancake is in real trouble.

Kurtanidze is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Pancake knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Pancake for a finish.
Kurtanidze is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Pancake is defending well though. Kurtanidze let's go of the attempt for now. Kurtanidze avoiding Pancake 's attempts to control his hands.

Kurtanidze has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Pancake is defending well but eventually Kurtanidze manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Pancake has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
