Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Agbay Amiga (ranked 23137 p4p, 23283 weight class) and Rico Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Agbay Amiga has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 58 - 65 - 8, fighting out of Las Vegas, Agbay Amiga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 57 - 71 - 6, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rico Salvacion!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Amiga misses with the body kick
and Salvacion counters with a good, hard body kick but Amiga shrugs it off.
Amiga throws a push kick but Salvacion slaps the foot to one side.
Amiga shoots in looking for a takedown. Salvacion tries to sprawl out of it but Amiga keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Salvacion manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Salvacion shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Amiga defends it nicely.

Amiga shoots in and drives through. Salvacion sprawls well.
Amiga misses with a body shot
and Salvacion counters with a big head kick but Amiga shrugs it off.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Amiga dives in for a single leg takedown but Salvacion sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Salvacion now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

Amiga is looking for a takedown.
Amiga is trying to break the clinch but Salvacion is controlling him.

Salvacion stops a takedown attempt from Amiga.
Salvacion changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Amiga fights it off and pushes away nicely.

That's time! Amiga's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Salvacion shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Amiga's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

As Amiga backs off Salvacion throws a huge counter combo but Amiga manages to avoid it all.
Salvacion shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Amiga's guard.
Amiga manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Salvacion gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Amiga finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Salvacion avoids the head kick by Amiga.

Salvacion feints and as Amiga raises his hands in defense, Salvacion changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Salvacion controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Amiga is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Rico Salvacion will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Amiga shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Salvacion but Salvacion pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Salvacion shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Salvacion showed some decent athleticism there.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Amiga wants to control but Salvacion is keeping busy and won't allow it.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Amiga throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Salvacion tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Amiga is in Salvacion's guard.
Salvacion wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Rico Salvacion comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Salvacion has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
