Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dawindi Buktot (ranked 23443 p4p, 23395 weight class) and Kulata Bitok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 50 - 77 - 6, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dawindi Buktot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 46 - 79 - 9, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kulata Bitok!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Bitok drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Bitok happy to just control the position for now.
Bitok working away.
Bitok just content to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Buktot struggling a bit here.
Bitok sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Buktot is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Buktot wants to control but Bitok postures up.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Buktot is letting Bitok control him for a moment.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Buktot.
And Bitok tries to counter it with a takedown but Buktot pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Bitok shoots in looking for a takedown. Buktot tries to sprawl out of it but Bitok keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Buktot manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Bitok throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Buktot was covering up waiting for the punch and Bitok finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Bitok throws a big elbow that misses.

Bitok's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Buktot wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Bitok controlling from the top position.
Buktot pulls Bitok in close to prevent any damage.
Bitok is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Kulata Bitok dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Buktot changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bitok tries to avoid it but Buktot manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bitok to the ground. Bitok escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bitok unleashes a big counter combination but Buktot bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Buktot dives in and scores a takedown into Bitok's guard.
Buktot controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Bitok is adopting a defensive guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Buktot leaves Bitok with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
It appears Buktot was looking to counter with a kick there.
Buktot shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bitok as he jumps to the side.
Bitok fails with the takedown.

Buktot leaves Bitok with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
A counter left hand to the body from Buktot misses its target.
Dawindi Buktot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kulata Bitok.
Bitok tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Buktot defends well and Bitok ends up having to push Buktot into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Bitok manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Buktot on his heels. He'll look to pass Buktot's guard now, I'm sure.

Buktot has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Bitok engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dawindi Buktot will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Buktot fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Bitok shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Buktot pinned against the cage. Buktot gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Buktot thinks about countering with a body kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Buktot swings for the body but Bitok moves out of range.
Bitok looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Bitok closes this distance looking for a takedown but Buktot circles away.
And Buktot counters with a quick kick to the body but Bitok blocks it.

Buktot changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bitok looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Bitok is trying to control Buktot's posture but Buktot avoids it.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Buktot shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bitok manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Bitok wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Buktot slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
