Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Arctium Zofewa (ranked 1209 p4p, 2719 weight class) and Donnie Jones (ranked 108 p4p, 236 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Donnie Jones!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Dmitry Maklakov and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
The fighters circling - Zofewa throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up but Zofewa swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Zofewa rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jones moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Zofewa misses with a looping right.
Jones connects with a good right hand that stumbles Zofewa. Zofewa circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Arctium Zofewa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Zofewa lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Jones will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Jones wants to take the fight to the mat but Zofewa manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

That's time! Zofewa's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Jones tries to move into range but Zofewa moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Jones got a little sloppy there for a moment and Zofewa has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jones has managed to get both his arms back between Zofewa's legs - danger averted.

We've been informed that Jones has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Zofewa is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jones can do to turn this around?

Jones seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Zofewa does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Zofewa has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jones can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Zofewa pushes a forearm under Jones's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Jones is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
