The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Da Silva shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ngannou defends it nicely. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Da Silva.
Da Silva darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Da Silva is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Ngannou is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Da Silva is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Our spies down at at Freddy\'s Grappling Institute inform us that Da Silva has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Da Silva is trying to stick to Ngannou's back but Ngannou is turning into Da Silva. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Da Silva's guard.
