Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, THIS IS SPARTA!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for SPARTA with that takedown attempt.
Jonesy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jonesy connects with a good right hand that stumbles SPARTA. SPARTA circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
SPARTA closes the distance and clinches up with Jonesy, looking for a takedown. SPARTA pushes Jonesy against the cage but Jonesy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jonesy cracks SPARTA with an open hand slap.
Jonesy displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from SPARTA.
Bert Jonesy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of THIS IS SPARTA.
SPARTA shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jonesy's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jonesy wants to stand but SPARTA has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
SPARTA is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.
SPARTA flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Jonesy looking to control but SPARTA is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Jonesy wants to control the pace but SPARTA is squirming around nicely.
SPARTA swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
SPARTA wants to hold on but Jonesy pushes him away.
SPARTA keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Jonesy blocks SPARTA's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Jonesy stands up from mount. Strange move.
SPARTA shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jonesy defends it nicely.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jonesy, as that shot connected.
Jonesy lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like THIS IS SPARTA has been cut.
Bert Jonesy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jonesy connects with a looping right hand.
Jonesy connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Jonesy misses with a wild combination.
SPARTA stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Jonesy.
SPARTA gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Jonesy misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jonesy throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends SPARTA stumbling backwards into the cage! SPARTA bounces back off the cage towards Jonesy, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Jonesy lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Jonesy celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Bert Jonesy!
