This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 41 wins and 28 losses; Shane Goble! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Goble content to control rather than advance.

Octavio controls Goble momentarily but Goble frees himself. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Octavio pulls Goble in close to his closed guard and prevents Goble from doing any damage or advancing position.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Goble in particular looking to stall.
And that's the end of the fight! Octavio takes the fight on points by 4 to 2. After winning the bout, Pablo Octavio thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility. |
