The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hacker avoids the head kick by Marsh.
Marsh's corner calls for a 1-2. Marsh obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

It looks like Gerald Hacker has been cut.
Hacker lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

It looks like Joey Marsh has been cut.
A head kick by Hacker misses
and Marsh counters with a big head kick but Hacker shrugs it off.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Marsh looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Marsh slips a jab and a cross from Hacker.
Marsh fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hacker looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Marsh counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Marsh looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
No joy there for Marsh, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Marsh throws a right hand that Hacker ducks under and follows up with a left that Hacker also avoids with ease.
Marsh lands a slapping body shot.
Hacker looks gassed!
Marsh takes a swing at Hacker's ribcage but misses.
Marsh pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Marsh tries a head kick but it misses.
Hacker feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Marsh crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
