The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Justen tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Giles swivels and escapes.
Giles unleashes a big counter combination but Justen bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Giles looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Justen has taken the fight to the clinch.
Giles stops a takedown attempt from Justen.
Giles looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Justen goes for a takedown in the clinch but Giles prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Herbert Justen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Justen keeps control of Giles as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Giles manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Justen is pushing down on Giles's leg trying to pass to half guard. Giles is fighting to maintain full guard but Justen has managed to sneak the leg through.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Justen is trying to work for a kimura but Giles is defending well.
Justen passes the guard and advances to mount!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Justen is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Giles is surviving well by controlling Justen's body position as best he can.

Justen takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
Justen has got one arm under Giles's chin. This could be trouble... Giles trying to control the other hand but Justen gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Giles has tapped out! The fight is over!
